Could someone remind me why Cavare, Pinillos and Thiam aren't good enough for this side??

They aren’t Austrian? They want to play in their normal positions?

They have little or no value in the transfer market. The sole aim of Barnsley Football Club Ltd is to buy players, add value to them and sell them for a profit irrespective of the impact on our position in the League Pyramid.

We had Jordan Williams and Whatshisname Ludewig playing full back tonight for 70 minutes.

Pinillos and Cavare meanwhile are deemed surplus to requirements and may as well spend their afternoons in the Workers.

Thiam isn’t to be fair. Anything outside over 90 teams he would struggle to get in. The others definitely

I thought Ludewig did ok after coming on. He covered in the centre a few times too. I wouldn't hesitate to bring those three back though. I don't know who has made that call- suspect not Struber- but whoever it was needs shooting.

I'm struggling to see how playing like we did tonight will add value to anyone

Thiam has been absolutely cack whenever he's played in this division.

You've got me on the other two though.

Thiam is better than several of those who've played tonight. Might not be a high bar, but still..

For what it's worth I'm in total agreement with you. The owners may well suggest that you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your Prince but other than speculating on player values (like playing the stock exchange) I'm not sure their definition of investing is the same as mine.

I'd take Cavare's mistake per 3 games and exchange it for Andersen's one a game. If nothing else to save Andersen from further humiliation.

Rather have Thiam over Thomas or Simoes. At least he can strike the ball and put a cross in.

Does anyone think reason they aint involved is because of contract
Say they play X amount of games they automatically get a contract extension and they are close to triggering it?
    Just a thought

Because they had the gall to want to stay in the contracts that the club agreed to.

I'd still play them if I was Struber.

I think it’s a bit of a stretch to argue any of these 3 would significantly improve the starting 11 but Cavare’s a pacey, powerful player who can beat a man & put a better ball in than any of our other full backs & Thiam’s a decent crosser & can smash one in the top corner every so often.

Surely they’re decent options off the bench?
