Surely is better than any of the other wingers cum midfield generals we are currently blessed with, that Mowatt is having to play alongside.

Bet he can't wait to come back to us. Relegated, at an all time low ebb, infighting, all his old mates probably sold, etc etc.
Thought of all that will make his quiff wobble.

Should have been given a go at the head of the diamond

No...(imho) showed no ability at this level, cant pass, more than 5 yards, cant shoot, dodgy hair, loads of mistakes.
As a plus.....hes tall and wins the odd header.

But we are currently have the most lightweight central 3 midfielders I’ve ever seen on a football field.

Even Barca would argue you need someone who could tackle.

I think Styles going off lost us the game last night. No attacking threat or drive forward after he went off. I don't rate Mcgeehan but I would have him back in over Bahre.

Should be nowhere near the head of the diamond, his finishing it too poor. But if he was able to play in the middle, alongside Mowatt with a DM behind, that might've allowed Woodrow to play further upfield in that 10 role.

My biggest criticism of him was that he constantly gave the ball away but the same could be said of Styles & Simoes last night & neither of them have anything about them off the ball.

I’m not McGeehan’s biggest fan but he seemed a strange player to get rid of when you’re in a relegation battle.

Then Halme or Dougall would play but in a 4. I would argue that they can put "a tackle in".

Mcgeehan, Cavare, Wilkes, Thiam, Pinnilos, Sibbick, Walton, Dougal and Green do not weaken this side, we all should have had more patience especially the coaching staff as we couldnt wouldnt have lost as many games if these players had been given more of a run.

Last night Williams, Oduor, Styles, Simeos, Thomas, Schmidt all good up and coming players but its yoo much too soon, if Mcgeehan and crew had been persisted with we would be in a better position than we are now this is down to Struber who without trying any of them has made a decision that they are not needed and is throwing the young lads to the wolves.

Seems to be in favour. Played the full game in Pompeys 1-0 defeat against Coventry
last night and picked up a yellow card.

To be fair to the lad we toughend him up a tad... the southern weather wont have had an such an effect as it once did on him .. Plus he will have used a firmer holding mousse on his hair...whilst maintaining his femininity
Couldn't be doing with a chipped nail this late in the season... Could he now Lol

Personally I think Thiam has the ability to weaken any side.

Said it before on here and said it again, Mcgeehans greatest weakness is his fragile confidence, as soon as he has one game his heads gone and this then continues into a bad run of form and eventually he gets binned out the side.

Likewise if he has a good game you can expect him to go on and have a run of good performances and become a mainstay in the team.

If he comes back in the summer i think he'll go straight into the team and perform well at league one level, just in time for his contract to expire next summer.

Yeah good chance Mowatt and Mcgeehan will be our central midfield next season. I'd hazard a guess that Thomas and Green will be our wingers too. Maybe Sibbick and Sollbauer at the back with both the Williams' at full back with Miller and Schmidt up front.

I think the only players to leave will be Chaplin, Woodrow and Brown. I would have had Mowatt on that list but I can't help thinking he'd be gone already if he was going.
