Mike Dean admitted to Wolves captain that he doesn't know who was offside for their disallowed goal. "So you're reffing the game and you don't know" says the wolves captain to him. Unbelievable
There is an argument to do away with the human ref altogether I mean what purpose does he serve apart from someone to abuse/ swear at and laugh at when he falls over the ball/ gets injured etc
It got the decision correct. Football players hated it when the refs got it wrong, now they hate it when they get the decisions right, even if it's millimeters in it. Football players are idiots.
I accuse you of never having watched a football match before if you think the Wolves player was offside.
My point is that it isn't a correct system if the ref on the field has no idea why he is being told to point his arm in a particular direction
Correct my a***. Offside in the build up they said. How far back are we going to go. Said it before great for armchair fans so they can go and make a cup of tea while a decisions being made
