    Didn’t know they also had Djourou and Alex Song either.

    Two decent players still and on some coin I’d imagine.

    Good luck Dimi. Your name is forever listed now as someone involved in a promotion for us.

    I felt the article should have listed his stats instead of being so brief. No mention of being in the team of the year for example or the amount of games he played as a first team regular to get us promoted.

    I would be surprised if the undisclosed fee actually involved a fee. We seem happy just to save on his wage.

    Disagree with you on this one. I liked his performances last year but this year he wasn't good enough, cost us a lot of goals through his poor defending. he's not the only one I know, but some of the goals were indefensible. We've had some cracking games from him but I think the time was right to get shut.

    Also, funds are now available to bring someone in short term. I doubt we will and id bet the club wont be able to "find the perfect fit" like they usually tell us.

    Sad to see him go, he was a massively underappreciated player last season and I still think he's better than our current full backs.

    I think he’s been treated appallingly.

    On his day by far the best full back at the club. When he was terrible he was still on a par with the other full backs at the club.

    It’s a shame the crazy robot is no more.

    I miss him already.
