hoping for a tarn win, few beers and in bed for 8, and hopefully wake up before the fight starts

hope Fury batters him, one of worst champions I have seen. Has very little actual boxing skill, he just happens to have a deadly right hook and swings it non stop until he hits.

 

He throws that right hand from so far back and wild how he’s not got tagged before I don’t know.

 

I do agree, how he hasn't been stopped yet is amazing. Seems so easy to hit.

However, his knockout or Ortiz in his last fight was impressive, didn't wildly swing like he has previously. He's horrendous at boxing and I don't think he landed a shot in that fight until the last 5 seconds of the 7th round and got schooled by an old man. But whatever we say about him the one and only tool he has is probably the most effective and brutal in heavyweight history.

I think Tyson will go for him early this time, he usually starts slow Wilder, so whilst I don't think its the smartest move fighting fire with fire I think its the best chance Tyson will have against an American in Vegas. If Wilder lands like he did in the 12th again I cant see Fury getting back up.

 

Agree, just rolps abart ring windmillin, like watching a drunk on Wellington street int early hours. Decent punch tho..

 

Fury will spark him out in the first half of the fight so he can't be robbed of the result like last time. Wilder is overated and has such a good record from fighting a load of nobodies. There isn't many names that matter on his record. He couldn't beat Tyson last time when he'd had a couple of meaningless warm up fights. Now he's in better shape and condition from more rounds under his belt he's no chance.

 

The majority of people he fights he hand picks so he knows he can win. And the majority of people outbox him most rounds until he manages to land the haymaker shot. Still cant believe no one has beaten him officially yet (we all know Tyson won the first fight really but dodgy judging IMO).

 

Don't know **** all about boxing but why does it sound like they're talking about someone called Beyonce?

 

It's a real 50/50 fight. Fury has all the skills to get the job done but Wilder has the devastating power to end the fight.
My prediction, Fury to win battles but lose the war.
Wilder by KO in the later rounds.

 

If Wilder pulls his fist back beyond his head to throw a devastating punch ...... then before that fist travels forward more than 2 inches he will find his ar@se sat on the canvass.

No boxer can pull his arm back that far and by doing so leave himself open against Fury.
Fury is too quick to allow that to happen.

 

He kinda let it happen a couple a times in first fight tho mind.

 

Kenny Bayless confirmed as the referee. I can see some more controversy coming in this fight. He’s been criticised in the past by being too biased towards American fighters, especially Floyd.

3 American judges too. But Bayless has previous of premature stoppages (like all referees) but I think If Fury goes down he might not get the chance he did in the last fight to get back up.

That said I do hope there’s no controversy in this one and we can go into the 3rd fight with the best man on Saturday been the man defending his titles.

 

Just watching some of the press conference. We had the staged shoving which was all a bit WWE. But did have this pearl from Fury.
Fury: "You’re the 3rd best heavyweight in the world!"

Wilder: "Who’s number 2?"

Fury: "Yo momma!"

 

Wilder by KO for me unfortunately.

I think people are harsh on his boxing ability, he’s not some idiot that can’t box, he won bronze at the Olympics for example but he’s a heavyweight & it should be judged differently from the rest of the sport.

He knows at around 220 pounds he’s only got to stay in the fight late with these huge 240+ pound heavyweights & they’ll eventually start to slow down & he’ll find opportunities to land that right hand.

We might think it’s daft to not try & bank rounds & look for that right hand every time but it works.

I’d like to see Fury outbox him & get the victory he deserved last time but I expect Wilder to stop him in the second half of the fight, even sooner if Fury does as he claims he will & looks for a knockout.

 

History shows in boxing that when there has been a close fight and a rematch happens the Victor of the 1st usually wins the 2nd more emphatically, so on that basis its deontay for me

 

Would be very surprised if Fury went looking for a KO. I think he is just trying to put doing into Wilders mind. I too expect Wilder to come out on top but I'm really looking forward to the fight.

 

Saw Wilder at Sheffield Arena on an Amir Khan undercard when he knocked Fraudley Harrison out of the ring in the first round. I liked the look of him then - and have followed his career. He's not a boxer whose style is easy on the eye - but his power is awesome, and as long as he's fit and trained properly I don't think Fury can hurt him - he'll wait for the later rounds and come looking for Fury's chin - which we know is a good one!! Three American judges, Fury won't win on points....Fury is in better shape mentally and physically than the last time they fought so there could be an upset.,.
