so if the victor of the first usually wins the 2nd then doesn’t that mean Fury wins? Wilder was down 10 rounds to 2. Dodgy American judges rescued wilder big time.
Ti be fair audley harrison won gold at the Olympics I dont rate his boxing ability much he lost every round of the 1st fight bar the knockdown rounds, he was getting beat by ortiz and same again didnt win a round then got the k.o I think it's a 50/50 fight wilder I expect will look for the big shot and to get the k.o but he has the big right hand to get it done. Wouldnt be suprised for fury to outbox him again and get robbed based on the judges. Looking forward to it though, alarm set.
I think Wilder knocks him out this time although he’ll probably lose most of the previous rounds. I thought it anyway but Fury’s weights made me more confident of it.. He hasn’t weighed that much since he was going life & death with journeymen on channel 5. I really hope he proves me wrong. Audley’s issue was mental. Completely lost his bottle without the head guard. Weird. Think it’s a bit similar with another quality amateur in David Price.
Don’t be fooled by Tyson’s weight. Didn’t strip down at all for the weigh in, which leads me to think all kinds of tricks were being played - Sugar Ray Leonard-esque. Wilder is 16lbs heavier than the first fight which is just as significant, if not more. Wilder was hurt multiple times in the last fight. His wild swings zap energy and Fury’s size isn’t an easy target, so he wastes shots. He can’t sit back and not throw because he knows Fury will jab his head off, and they hurt after a while. Old man Ortiz didn’t have that extra bit of quality. A real 50/50 fight. Wilder can’t box any worse so will, improve, but Fury will be far better too. Just announced they’ve broken the heavyweight revenue record at the MGM gate. Fair play to them for that.
Great win for Tyson Fury. Wilder taken to hospital as a precaution. Hope he's OK. Tyson Fury beats Deontay Wilder in world title fight in Las Vegas https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/51602615
I didnt think fury could beat him in that fashion I'd thought he would out box him but was a great performance.
Never in doubt. I wasn't far wrong with my prediction of Fury in the first half of the fight. The last time Tyson had fought two nobodies after being in a very dark place. Wilder saw all that as a easy fight and was lucky to keep his belt. This time with Tyson in a much better head space and with more fights behind him he was always going to win. Now we can look forward to Eddie Hearn robbing the UK fans of seeing two UK guys fight for all the belts, when he takes the Saudi cash.
Same. Thought it was Fury points or Wilder KO. Even if Fury got the KO I thought it’d be catching Wilder when he recklessly missed a shot or something like that. I didn’t see him taking the centre of the ring & forcing him back, to be honest I don’t think anyone did. Incredible performance
I struggle to see a punch. Wilder is stuck in the corner, barely moves and his opponent is down. Looks dodgy.
Nothing dodgy about it. Me & my mate thought the same initially as at full speed from the side you can barely see anything but there’s some slow mo’s from a camera behind Wilder & he catches him flush & Helenius is going forwards to make the impact even worse. Don’t think there’s a fighter in history with the one punch KO power he possesses.
Wow, hes done well has Wilder to get back on his feet, so soon after getting sacked by Middlesbrough.
