Lad at front of west stand who offered him out soon backed away when he pointed to side of pitch and said come on then haha!!!
He was an idiot on the pitch all afternoon. Should have been booked for kicking the ball away and forever moaning at the officials.
Must have been two fans then. There was one at the front of the ponty end who chased him half the length of the stand before stewards sent him packing. Didn't know people in the west had the energy for it
Yet another silly change by pillocks in suits who have no regard for the potential consequences of their decisions.
Me neither lol. Fair play to asombalonga for sticking up for himself, he is a waste of money though, didnt they pay 15 million for him
If he'd have walked around the other way in front of the Boro fans he knew he'd have got a LOT more abuse from them, so he chose the lesser of two evils! And yes credit to him, he did take it in good part
Probably because he acted a dick on the pitch so it rilled up some of our fans. If he had been professional during the game I doubt he would have got people having a go. Nothing in it.
I noticed Brad Collins receiving a lot of ****** gestures amongst other verbals as he walked towards the Boro end at the start of the game. Well done Brad for totally ignoring it
The crowd reserve the right to take the piss out of opposition players, especially those who need bringing down a peg or two. Long may it continue...as long as it isn't done in a manner which is racist, sectarian, homophobic etc.
Slot of people on here defending Asombalonga, he was rubbish for them, he cheated most of the match, pulling, pushing our defenders, as he walked past the West stand, yes, some issues carried on the abuse, but HE, actually asked them to step on to the pitch side, he was offering THEM the chance to have a go... Sap, should a professional footballer really do that??????? Do we call him unprofessional now???? The stewards actually kept him moving, trying to stop any aggravation. Seriously, what did he expect, being as **** as he was today from our supporters? Sympathy??? A round of applause???? Don't make me laugh. He could have chosen to go the other way, however he was probably in more danger of the abuse from the smoggies fans
As an aside Bahre got booked for walking across the pitch when subbed instead of walking to the shortest side.
It's a good rule in theory but times like today you do wonder. Hobson choice for the lad today - go our way and get stick from home fans or go their way and get stick from your fans. Esp with the goal going in. Could be a recipe for disaster tbh.....
