Some interesting railway factoids in there. I think we'll beat them. I assume Wilks can't play for them.
The H&B Wath branch came within half a mile of our house, we used to walk on the old embankment from Bolton to Highgate to school. The original station at Wath is a house on the Bolton to Wath road.
For a club that geographically is further away from us than the likes of Derby or Lincoln, I think it's quite cute how angry some of them seem to be getting about us before a ball has been kicked.
No Wilks can’t play for them but it’s a night game and we don’t usually turn up for them. The last two results have been brilliant but the three previous to them were awful imo. If we do manage a win on Wednesday it puts us back in the dogfight after being cast adrift so still a long way to go but at least we have hope which had all about disappeared after Brum imo
Maybe I'm getting all carried away with optimism. It's not something that's happened much this season.
Everyone in the rest of Yorkshire knows they're not Yorkshire so they're bitter and twisted about it - I think its because there's only one direction for them to concentrate their hate - West, Hull was the first recorded place in England with Syphilis-700 years ago. Its no doubt effected the mental development of the locals to a large extent,
Awhh seem to have some kind of affection to us :/? Haha Hull is one irrelevant team I don’t care about
