Leavers prove the point that they haven’t got a clue what is going on. Like I said. Many people have total amnesia when it comes to the arguments for leaving the EU. You stated originally that you’d never heard nor seen anyone campaigning for a different colour. That is palpable nonsense. It was a talismanic symbol of the whole campaign. Of course now everyone says they couldn’t care less what colour it is? Except for virtually everyone in my pub toasting the return of the blue passport the other day.
Thats what happens when you remove rights from the population against the wishes of a big chunk of them and make another large chunk have to apply to stay in their own homes while making them feel unwelcome.
Ok let’s start with you’re opening comment, you have wrongly assumed I voted to leave. Secondly, I can guarantee you that during the campaign of Brexit, I saw anyone talking about changing colours, the only recollection I have or can find was after the vote had taken place and even then any comment raised on Social Media has been from people who did not want to leave. Thirdly, just because people in your pub are celebrating doesn’t mean everyone else is.
The most common statement from leave supporters is "We never asked for / promised / expected that anyway." There seems to be an awful lot of back pedaling going on.
As reported on BBC in August 2016 the Sun started the campaign after the vote. The government when asked said there no plans to happen at that point. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-36952010
Don't think there's a tantrum. It's just hilarious to watch unfold. Farage will be mortified it's black - that's exactly the colour of people he wants kicking out.
People have very short memories. Not confined to Brexit, but Brexit is an absolutely massive example of this. Messages that were absolutely central to the media puppeteering, are now routinely being dismissed as 'meh, who cares'. Well, at the time, $hit loads of people cared. In fact they were worked up to a frenzy.
I don't care about the colour of the passport - like all the Brexit fans on here, but I DO care that so far Brexit has cost the taxpayer £4 billion and we've not even left - I guess its the price worth paying to be able to increase chronic shortages in our care services, etc. I'm sure someone will be along to "defend" it, can't wait.
Ah, the classic response of an ignorant leave-voter. Accuse anyone who has pulled apart their arguments of crying. Well done mate, that'll show those bloody lefty snowflakes!
I wonder how many hospitals could have been built with £4bn? Probably more than the non existent £350m that's supposed to be going into the NHS now we've left.
