    Another post says we've only ever drawn three there. That seasons 1-1 sticks in my mind. Snow called every other fixture off except this one due to their plastic pitch. To get the game on they had cons from wormwood scrubs clear the pitch cos it was on match of the day. One wag etched ."...(Joe blogs) is innocent" in six foot high letters in centre circle. BBC tried to edit it out but a midfield stalemate thwarted them :D :D

    Didn't they put the wrong salt on , rock salt if I remember .
    I thought we lost 0 - 1 .

    I was there when we lost in the FA Cup and Trevor Sinclair scored the spectacular overhead scissors kick. I was right behind it, brilliant goal. Probably one of the best I've ever seen live...

    The thing that really got to me about that December, the BBC had the monopoly on football - there was no 24/7 coverage like there is today. So if it wasn't on the Beeb - chances are it hadn't been on telly.

    it was a crappy month for weather and the BFC / QPR match was one of few that the Beeb managed to cover that month - one of the others being our Man City Cup game (Sportsnight).

    Yet for goal of the month, they only picked about 4 goals due to number of games shown - yet Big Trev's never made the cut. Travesty

    That was a great goal Banks inch perfect cross from right wing perfect header from Trev.. Of course, we had a carbon copy 26 years later, sub the names with devaney and odejayi

    We have won sixteen against QPR's twenty eight victories and there have been eleven draws. I will never
    ever forget the Trevor Sinclair " screamer" in the 4 th round tie in the Cup in 1997 when we lost at Loftus Road 3-2.

    It was memorable for two other things re- it was the season we were promoted to the Premiership for the
    first and only time and a right hook from Andy Impey planted on Adie Moses. Even Tyson Fury would have been
    proud of a punch like that. Thanks goodness Adie didn't suffer any long term side effects.
