    Same result for me.
For example an owner who says he won't take a penny out of the club who pays himself £1m a year wages has taken £1m out of the club. A owner who says he won't take a penny out of the club who pays himself £1m a year dividends has taken £1m out of the club. The way it's done is simply semantics, the result is the same.

But where do you draw the line? Should Glastonbury not refund the festival price? Or 101 other similar things?

I get what you're saying. We should all be thinking of other things right now. But some people are already far wealthier than others. Let them stump up. Let the footballers, managers, pundits, and all the rest stump up to save football clubs, if indeed they need saving.
Yes, I'd sign up to that.

I'd not want a refund. It is what it is - Chances are I wouldn't have gone to all 3 games anyway.

Although £50 of 'free' toilet roll does sound interesting...

No. The money's gone and the players will still need paying.

Not the same. In any way you say it. Put all the spin you like. I'm not defending just stating the blindingly obvious. You are clutching at any straw to criticise. At least have a valid argument. Paul Conway whom I assume your aiming at was acting CEO during the gap between Ganyae and Murphy. So if he wasn't doing the job someone else would have. And guess what. Drawing a wage.

Spin again on the quote i replied to initially. Performance is irrelevant to your accusation. I personally think wages in many of the upper wage structures of companies and businesses are obscene. Some footballers are on ludicrous wages. Performance is not a guarantee.

So guys with no loyalty to us who are around couple of years max should still get their thousands per week for unplayed games.

But the fans on far less who were here long before them and will be here long after they have pissed off, should just chalk off the sixty quid or so that should be refunded.

If one was offered I would possibly claim a refund but I wouldn't be bothered if one wasn't offered.

They might offer an adjustment on the price of the ticket next season.

I fully understand some people have paid a hell of a lot of money for several season tickets. Plus some are having to push the boat out to buy a season ticket. ( Although the interest free offer last season was a good initiative ) I personally am not going to push it as overheads and wages of all staff have to be covered ( I stand to be out about £30). but my opening statement is why i believe refunds or discount on next season should be offered.

It doesn't matter if you want a refund or not.
They will be legally obliged to refund you.
They offered to sell you a product including all the details of that product and you decided to buy it based on that information
A seat for X amount of games etc.
They will have failed to deliver on that contract.
So you will be refunded fully on the percentage of games missed.
They will have insurance to cover these kind of eventuality.

Of course all the Super fans embarrassing themselves saying they don't want there money back.
In any other situation cinema pass ,theatre pass Netflix ,Sky and instead of getting 12 months got 9 months people would be shouting from the rooftops wanting there money back.

The people comparing it to a supermarket.
if you did your shopping it added up to 100 pound 4 bags
you paid the till person ,they said thanks then grabbed one of the bags you had paid for and took it off you.
i am sure you would be happy and say no problem have a nice day.

    Some crap in this thread.

ordinarily no. But with these owners - yes.

And yes, that’s a pop at the owners. I’ve no problem with that. They need popping.

I haven't got a ticket to be refunded, but it's no different to any other purchase which hasn't been fully honoured. We wouldn't be having this conversation if it was gig, flight or hotel tickets..

No. Money's spoken for. It was spoken for before a ball was kicked. Every penny people demand for season ticket refunds, is a penny coming out of back room staff.
