I'd like to be selfish and say if the government are making me face infection are they going to stump up the cash for my travel after they've knocked half of it off?
With Weinstein there were no corrobative witnesses nor forensic evidence. He still got convicted. I'm not sure about Boris - he's not in the job to be trusted - which politician would you trust? You will have spent years trusting good old Alex. I'm a bit pissed off that all of a sudden on here the Chancellor is suddenly a new God. If he's that smart, what was last week's budget about? Cos it's been obliterated less than a fortnight later. Could it possibly be that there needs to be a strategy in place that needs to be assessed on a daily basis? In which case Boris is doing OK. Look at the rates in other countries - are we worse than similar size countries? Similar size European countries? If we were the "hot spot" I'd agree that something was wrong. But we're far more densely populated and ought to be worse already. We've gone drastic now - let's see what happens.
Ach Salmond’s political career is long gone but the not proven verdict used here in Scotland is one when all evidence ends with mibbee aye mibbee no? So your guilty but get off with it.
I'm not extreme doom and gloom at all. In fact, quite the opposite. I'm optimistic that the approach by the government will be effective and save lives. I just hope it isn't too little too late. My opinion is based on what I have observed in the scientific models published by the Imperial College, along with what I have seen happen elsewhere.
Hard to compare USA law and Scots law. And as for trusting mps. Well boris lies about every time he opens his mouth. Now I’m no Tory. I actually hate everything they stand for but I did give the new chancellor credit earlier for the way he conducted himself with his clear answers. Possibly the fact that the buffoon was standing next to him made him look like a breath of fresh air. I’m less than impressed with boris at the press conferences. He reminds me of that rabbit in the headlights.
Liar. Buffoon. Rabbit. Attempted rapist. Intended rapist. Sexual assaultor. Not sure nouns take us anywhere. History will eventually judge these people. But these extreme measures don't come off the back of a matchbox. We'll have to trust what we're hearing for now - unless you fancy going out for a swift pint tonight after you've fought for the last 3 dozen Andrex rolls in your local Tesco.
Going to a supermarket is the last thing I’d want to do. Sparky told me tonight that there was a battle in your Morrison’s tonight. And it won’t be the last. I fully expect trouble to erupt all over. And it looks like we vote in right despicable individuals. But it’s always been like that. Remember Cyril Smith
My other half is a funeral celebrant and things are changing by the hour. If you need any advice, give me a shout and she will help where she can
The ones who are raiding the supermarkets are despicable individuals. If they eat all they've bought they'll end up looking like Cyril Smith.
Still only £94.25 pw for people like me. I don't have premises, other than a lock up, but overheads for online stuff, phone & internet are more than that & I still have to live & pay my Corporation Tax in September. Good for a lot of folks though.
The "grants" to self employed are loans, repayable in a month & requiring personal guarantees if you are incorporated, meaning you house is on the line.
They’ve also deferred your self assessment payment: not sure if that helps you at all. I would be surprised if there isn’t additional help provided to self employed people. The health secretary admitted he couldn’t live on £94/week. It’s just difficult, isn’t it, to determine how much self employed people should be entitled to, as there’s no set salary and it will vary from month to month. I think it’s clear that £94/week isn’t close to being enough, however. I could be wrong on this but I have a feeling they’ve announced this today before it’s all completely finalised, meaning more will be coming for self employed/freelance etc. They had to announce today, however, so that closing the hospitality industry down didn’t lead to mass redundancy.
And it will be proved when a dilapidated NHS albeit with hero workers tries coping with a national catastrophe after years of cuts and kickings from the last ten years of Tory rule .
