    They knew exactly what they were doing but how they thought they would get away with it God knows!

    A PR disaster and hope it comes back to bite the Senior Management of Britannia Hotels although it probably won't. Good on Britannia Hotels to step in and help those suddenly made homeless without any notice.

    Good on the Macdonald hotel to step in! I know which I would go to if I was in the area.

    I think I stayed at a Brittania Hotel once. Very much a budget hotel group.

    It doesn't take a protest against Britannia to avoid their hotels. Grand Hotel in Scarborough is the worst hotel I have ever been to and put me off ever wanting to try any of their other premises.

    Royal hotel in Scarborough is another one that they've run into the ground.
    It used to be a lovely hotel before they took over it.
