    The wonder stuff really are amazing, seen them loads. More recently they’ve included the Picturedome at Holmfirth on their tour. Seen them about 3 times there. Absolutely brilliant small venue and always a brilliant night watching the Wonder Stuff.

    Agreed, I knew there was a fourth band but couldn't remember their name. I do remember spectators booing them and throwing plastic bottles onto the stage while they were performing. Not a clue why.

    I thought the stones at Glastonbury 2013 would take some topping but Kasabian managed it a couple of years later. A couple of acts I've seen that I didnt have high expectations but they smashed it:

    I don't think replacing Peter Green with Lindsey Buckingham maintained the same level of lead guitar in Fleetwood Mac.

    My best gig has got to be Gruff Rhys (from Super Furry Animals) supported by Martin Carr (Boo Radleys) in some old church in Dublin a few years back. Never thought that I'd get to see my two favourite (living) artists playing together! Gruff was playing stuff from his best album, and Martin was in top form again after a couple of quiet years. It was a rather small gig with great atmosphere in quite an interesting place... great acoustics too! :)

    Far from it. It actually made Fleetwood Mac a totally new group in different musical genre altogether. Plus Buckingham brought Stevie Nicks with him. I bet Mick and John could not believe their luck.
    Just as an aside, I’ve just learned how to play the lead guitar part of Need your love so bad. I didn’t realise the intricacies, it’s absolutely fascinating.

    I wonder how many Fleetwood Mac fans know that Barnsley's Terry Hooson (he of small Paul & the Young ones and Chicago line) came off the subs bench to play lead with Fleetwood Mac for 3 weeks when Peter Green was laid low with Jaundice.

    I think Terry was playing sessions at the time for 'Blue Horizon' records which was Fleetwood Mac's Label at the time. I think he only did 2 or 3 gigs one of which was the 'Nags Head' Battersea. It was the very early days around 1967.

    The one I will always regret was in October 1989 at the Hallamshire Hotel on West Street. Mudhoney, supported by Tad and a little known Seattle 3 piece called Nirvana.
