    Working from home.

Since last November I’ve been working from home Tuesday and Thursday but 5 days a week at home for the foreseeable makes me uneasy and I’m hardly the most sociable person ever.

My girlfriend works for Yorkshire Water assigning technicians to jobs in areas and she’s only just starting to work from home tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s taken a company that size so long.

Technically a civil servant. Work from home or field based anyway. As luck would have it have been at home solid since early march on one big task. Eager to get redeployed to other stuff that could help with this crisis. Probably will be in the next week or so hopefully

Currently working in the office full time. I could do the role from home with a VPN quite easily but its not an option. Don't get me wrong, I like to go into the office to get out, but it's the other people who are coming in that I can do without.

Limping along at the minute, but pretty much fc*ked. The announcement tonight might destroy the business, but we might get away with it. I think it will be a shutdown of all non-essential stores (maybe businesses too), but it might be a full lock down. If it's not, full lock down will be Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. And then, like for millions of others, I'm pretty much dead. It's just a matter of when. I'm not kidding.

I'm very lucky in that I can work from home and realistically am not going to be made redundant any time soon. Really feel for self employed people who aren't providing essential services and have kids. Whole things a nightmare.

As I thought, closure of non-essential stores. Lock down will be later this week. There isn't an exit strategy from that. We come out, it starts again, like what is beginning to happen in China. We can't keep printing money, because confidence in that monetary system will disappear ( a make believe monetary system where a bank note or a coin has no intrinsic value). Good luck everyone.

pharmaceutical deliveries for me...really tough at present...volunteered unpaid extra hours to help people who are vunerable and in need ...seeing it in their community is eyeopening to a level ya wouldnt believe..people from other industries who are closing coming to me to volunteer their help ....vast majority of people are brilliant and willing to step up.....
shame its the nobs who get airtime..
