Come on Boris lad. Hope its just a precaution cos according to what I’m reading 10 days in and he’s getting worse not better.
In his position he must be so run down. All those in the govt. front line together with the medical chiefs will no doubt be exhausted. Any illness will be worse when you are wrecked. Hope he gets better soon.
Wonder if he's shaking hands with everyone whilst he's in there? On a serious note, hopefully he makes a full recovery.
Just seen this on the news leaving all politics aside for a moment I do hope it’s not as serious as it sounds and really is just precautionary and that he recovers soon.
If he's got pneumonia then he'll be in very bad shape. I hope he gets through it. I'm still not sure if I've had it, now on antibiotics. 21 days since 1st symptoms and I'm still hacking my guts up, and was awake most of last night due to breathing issues. The sound of my wheezing and crackling chest kept waking me up. This thing is evil, doesn't seem to have a set M.O, it's indiscriminate outside of those with underlying conditions. With other virus you know what to expect 99% of the time not with this *******. It's like it's been engineered to **** up people and society.
So you mean to say that with those symptoms and an antibiotics prescription, which means you're sought medical advice, you've still not been tested?
Just to be clear, people can and do have "walking pneumonia". Yes, in severe cases can it lead to hospitalisation, ventilators and worse, but kids and adults alike can have it and still function reasonably well. In your case I'd keep a close eye on it, call for the doctor if its not got better or getting worse. I know that's obvious but, stay safe Edit: it's not unusual from what I've read for people to take a month or so for the cough to clear up, my daughter's school friend (age 9) still has his after 3 weeks. Clearly if you're having difficulty breathing that's of more concern and you should seek medical help if you're concerned, as I said above
