    I’m surprised the bug had the bloody nerve to attack him!
    Always loved watching Norman play, even when he was at Leeds and was well chuffed when he joined us.

    I went on a cruise on the Canberra about 26 years ago. Norman, Ronnie Glavin, Gordon Banks and Alan Mullary were all coaches and we played some friendly games against local amateur teams.

    I was lucky to play left wing with Norman playing left back. Even in his late 40's/early 50's he had so much quality and time on the ball, running rings round lads half his age. Was quite special to play with him.

    I hope he makes it.

    Met him a few times as a kid, was always petrified of him but actually always treated us well.
