Norris was polishing his helmet and Ken was slipping a few lengths in the afternoon Surely like the Pugwash and Rainbow episodes.
Wasn't the Pugwash one an urban myth? I did laugh at the Corrie lines tonight though - usually have Carry ons over a Bank Holiday weekend- seemed to have stated a little early
We are on the same wave length GO. Wife asked me what I was laughing at, which made me laugh even more.
At the end of one of their cookery programmes did Johnny Craddock really say “I hope your doughnuts look like Fanny’s”?
A myth is was funny to believe though. Real truth: Captain Horatio Pugwash – sails the high seas in his ship called the Black Pig, assisted by cabin boy Tom, pirates Willy and Barnabas, and Master Mate. His mortal enemy is Cut-Throat Jake, captain of the Flying Dustman.
Every Fanny needs his Johnnie, or was it the other way round. Btw I did note the double entendres from Norris and Ken.
Not yet. Radio 4 in introducing "the Archers" makes a point of saying that Ambridge " remains Coronavirus free" before every episode. All the soaps have reduced the number of episodes being broadcast as recording has been halted.
As DR says, they have a sufficient number of episodes pre- recorded to last until the Summer if they were to stick to their original pre- Covid 19 schedules. What they appear to be doing now is broadcasting Emmerdale and Coronation Street three night per week. My wife watches them so I sometimes sit through them whilst I watch something else on my iPad. You're not missing much Gally, both programmes have become increasingly violent and some of the storylines are dragged out for far too long.
Quality has been sacrificed for quantity. Those of us with long memories can see old plot lines being re-cycled.
Amazing how people take soaps so seriously. On Corra at the moment Geoff is constantly belittling his wife Yasmeen. Shelley King who plays the part, had to go on day time TV to ask viewers to stop sending in letters of complaint about her on screen husband ( Ian Bartholmew) and abusing him in the Street as she said he is a lovely bloke that wouldn't hurt a fly.
No the rainbow one was a real episode. But it was done a a special and not shown as a kids one. I’ll try and find the info later
If was made for the Christmas party I believe. TV shows used to make funny videos that they'd play to each other at the Christmas do's and that was what rainbow made one year
