    Yet some see Boris who has oiked off to his country manor as an hero ! He’s part of the problem not the solution ffs, he’s done too little too late and is merely a mouthpiece.
    And before anyone starts I’m not a Jezza ( he’s gone) or labour fan, they aren’t the party I voted for all my life until about 5 years ago.

    Ignore that, let's clap for them to show our support rather than questioning how we're in this state. It's inappropriate to make things political at this time, let's just all get behind our brave lads and lasses in the NHS. Also, do you fancy donating to them to show your appreciation? No, don't you dare question whether they might need donations at this time if they'd been properly funded for the last decade, that's inappropriate. Let's just rally round at this difficult time, blitz spirit, we're all in it together - didn't you see how Boris had it and bravely fought it off? True British grit. No, don't ask about whether he fvcked the response with the "herd immunity" thing and how many lives that cost, he nearly died you know! Wave this flag instead.

    Unfortunately the crisis has happened at a time in history when we have the most incompetent set of politicians, both in power and opposition, than there has been in my lifetime, led by unelected ‘ special advisors’ who are both incompetent and unstable .

    Not one of them are fit for office . They were all appointed as yes men for Boris and Cummins .
    Because of this we have no leadership .they take in turns in making arses of themselves with false and misinformation .
    The popular press are letting them off the hook it’s a disgrace . If a Labour govt had done the slightest of these **** ups they’d be a lynch mob at bay .

    What does that even mean? That he's somehow immune from criticism?

    "Well people would have slated him anyway so let's just assume that any criticism is for partisan reasons and not question whether he's dropped a bollock at any point."

    O/T - interesting interview with New York medic on You Tube - medics now questioning whether putting people with Covid 19 on ventilators is doing more harm than good - the best treatment being the 'oxygen mask.'
    What medics are saying is that it is wrong to treat Covid 19 in the same way as pneumonia - they are very different conditions.

    I totally agree, we have this load of incompetent chancers in government - partly due to an incompetent opposition party unable to challenge them at the ballot box.

    Just been reading that story here

    Basically saying:

    a. Death rate for people on ventilators is horrific and something not right

    b. Coronavirus is not pneumonia. People are turning up at hospital starved of oxygen as if they have been dropped on top of Mount Everest, but they dont have the lung damage seen in pneumonia patients and shouldn't be treated as if they need help to breathe, they just need the concentrated oxygen.

    Very interesting read.
