it’s daft though isn’t it? I’d have the missis at work in the NHS as a key worker dealing with Covid patients coming home with the risks that entails sending the kids to school again with risks with me staying at home social distancing and on lockdown.

When we struggled to keep clear of 2 little kids on bikes when out walking, wobbling about in blissful ignorance whilst their parents from 50 yards behind shouted instructions to them to keep their distance from us, it was clear that social distancing in schools, particularly primary schools, is impossible.

    Like herding cats.

Yeah there’s no chance. But those pushing for a early return don’t seem to get it. Even if they issued all the kids with masks and gloves and have teachers in full PPE the kids would t wear it.

Put it this way, the last week of school before lockdown had the school nurse running from one class to another, looking at coughing kids with a temperature. She was off poorly at the end of the week.

And if they start test trace and isolate. One person being Covid positive would mean every single contact. and all their family members also being tested.
