I do worry about how many people say they don't care about privacy and they have nothing to hide. I've got literally thousands of things to hide. And that's just what I did last week.
Missus has read that this UK app won't be accepted in Europe because they are going to use the Google/Apple version. I don't know whether that means we can't travel to Europe or we may have to download a version for the country we travel to. Also that the app for the UK has been developed by a company that worked on the Brexit-Leave campaign.
Just tried the GPS on my phone zoomed in on Google Maps....I started in the back garden, went across the road into their garden, came back in the house and wandered about for 5 minutes went out back again, nearly fell in the canal, broke curfew and watched a bit of telly at the neighbours, And the had a wander up the road.....all from the comfort of my settee in the living room....oh I'm now hiding in the garden across the road It's not 100% accurate
A so as long as you are boffing next doors missus or the lass across the road nothing to fear as your presence is clearly due to GPS inaccuracies The app doesnt use GPS to detect contacts though - thats just extra info sent back showing where you are it uses bluetooth signal strength which should be more accurate for contact events
