June Bernicoff one of the original armchair TV critics on Gogglebox, has sadly passed at the age of eighty two. Her late husband Leon who was an Evertonian, was very funny with an array of one liners with his flirty innuendoes often aimed at his long suffering wife. I don't watch the show now, as it's descended to repeated levels of crudity and for me, is interspersed with obscene language from some of the female cast, which as far as I am concerned is not acceptable.
Why is bad language only offensive from females? Sad about June, her and Leon were my favourites, them and the Sadiqis
You are right Redhelen, its offensive whether it's uttered by any member male/female on the programme particularly as the content is quite often very crude regarding their observations. I also like the Siddiqui family, but my favourites were Sandie and Sandra and Giles and Mary. Never realised until I read it in the paper that Mary is the agony aunt in the Spectator.
