They have said nothing about seeing wider family or friends, where have you got that from?

I wonder how many people that work in or run factories or building sites agree that it's clear what they should be doing this morning. Interviews with Government ministers this morning is already contradicting the speech last night.

Also, publishing a report with the details at 2pm the day after making announcements to the nation is just plain stupid. Horses and stable doors.

Agree it’s clear. All the tiny details people are asking about will be available today on gov website. If the announcement was to cover all the questions those on here and everyone in UK has then it would have been a 3 hour broadcast- and criticised for being too wordy.
    In summary
Lockdown is still on, with sensible changes to exercise and getting construction and manufacturing started. With a possible date for opening schools, shops etc

All the tiny details? Like what, when half the country is meant to go back to work?

Why did he tell people to go to work this morning? Why are ministers now saying that he meant Wednesday? Why was he addressing the nation before details had been released and scrutinised? Why not just say that he's keeping lockdown in place, but removing the once a day exercise advise?

Why is he still PM? He's dangerous.

So I want to provide tonight - for you - the shape of a plan to address both fears.

“Both to beat the virus and provide the first sketch of a road map for reopening society.

A sense of the way ahead, and when and how and on what basis we will take the decisions to proceed.

I will be setting out more details in Parliament tomorrow and taking questions from the public in the evening.

I have consulted across the political spectrum, across all four nations of the UK.

Many people wont be able to return to school until june as schools not back until then and who can watch your kids keeping the 2metre distance rule.

I’ve always loved Churchills quote - “The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty”

I like that quote, but I think this one from General Melchett is equally applicable to the last few years - "If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through."

it’s so clear that Raab contradicted Johnson twice whilst briefing today and No10 issues a clarification confirming the original advice given by Johnson is correct not Raab.

*Except for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland whose leaders have all said that they were not consulted and have their own policies and guidelines in place...
