Just wondering how many people are actually interested in watching this as the english media seem to be ramming it down everybodys throat thats its the greatest thing thats ever happened. Is it only to justify the premier restart no matter the circumstances.
Very interested....Fortuna Dusseldorf are my other team and I've been to more of their games in the last 5 years than Barnsley games. One of the big attractions in the German game though is the matchday experience and the atmosphere in the ground. It's usually so noisy it comes over very well on TV so to be watching in near silence will be a big difference.
I'm not going to be watching. As far as I'm concerned the football calendar is over now until August.
Most German fans and supporters groups are against it restarting until fans can attend regardless of the alternatives.
I'll be watching - follow Schalke, so no better game to restart with. Be strange without the atmosphere though, the whole match day is amazing normally.
My son watches Bundesliga regularly anyway, so he'll be watching. Says it's much better than Premier League.
I won’t be going out of my way to watch it but if we aren’t watching anything together & I’m in the house I’ll put it on
Watched the start of Dortmund v Schalke. Brings a closed doors pre-season friendly to mind. Minimal commitment Too much standing off. Not surprising but not thrilled tbh.
Tried it for 5 mins, thought it was crap just didn’t seem real. Commentators talking it up but sounds like is being played in a swimming baths and about as interesting
I’ve stuck with it and it’s not the real deal BUT if it was tarn playing I’d be into it more I think, this is how things May have to be for a period of time, it’s not great but if they want to keep Playing this is best we’ll get. I still think that Football should’ve been shelved till it was safe for everyone to come back though but money talks sadly
Loving it! I enjoy all matches from all over and i do admire the German blueprint and their fans. Dortmund get the highest avarage attendences in Europe, so it must be really strange for them. I also have a soft spot for them.
I see Steve Mcmanaman is a trending topic because for BT Sport he's watching the Dortmund game and said they were in good form going in to the game, even though no team has any form because nobody has played for over two months.
Its important for football that a large country starts playing feels early but hope there are no issues. Thought one of smaller nations would have been first to start..
