Just goes to show how foolhardy it might be to resume games in June. I see
that Troy Deeney of Watford has said that in order to protect his family from
Covid, there's no way he's planning to resume training. Be very interesting to
see what action if any, is taken against him.

To be fair. ( I’m still up for null and voiding the season. ) I would have expected such. Seeing as it was the 1st day back for most.

I think most clubs are. They're just at loggerheads how to do it without pissing Liverpool off.

Why piss Liverpool off? They’ve won the title; just give ‘em the bloody silverware and chalk fu.ck on it.

Law of averages there were going to be positive tests. If that's all it would take to stop a return then they may as well not have bothered getting to this stage. Nearly 800 people were tested for an infection return much lower than we see daily at the briefing.

Not good, I also like my NFL, those teams will have around 150 staff in. They're opening training facilities next week.....what this space. Though the biggest guys are strong and explosive a lot would be classed as morbidly obese. Not a good recipe especially when you throw race into the equation.

Professor Carl Heneghan reckons if figures continue as they are we will have a covid free day by the end of June. If players don't want to play that should be their choice. But if the season doesn't finish a lot of clubs will be in trouble giving cash back to TV broadcasters. Even if they play they are all due a refund anyway as it won't be televised in the way the deal set out for example with fans.

And ex-red, of course. Looked up his stats and was surprised he only made 3 appearances for us. Thought it was more than that. My football memory is shocking. I largely gave up driving to Barnsley matches with @Turvey Tyke because it was impossible to keep up my end of the discussion.

The only Reston to continue the season is money not sport. They value money over the safety of footballers. If high profile players like Aguero refuse to restart “sporting integrity” disappears in a flash.

It's a higher infection rate than in the Bundesliga. The Bundesliga had 10 positive tests from 1,724 tests on players and staff, which was 0.58% positive, compared to the Premier League’s 0.8%.

To be fair, they’re all round each other’s houses for parties most nights according to the media.... just get on with it!

Doesn't matter if it's 1% or 100. If someone's got it there's a chance of passing it on. I know there's a lot of cash at stake (as always) but so what.

Wonder if we'll take the same precautions:
