I'd rattle his missus, even following him in.

That's all I've got to say on Trump really.

He doesn’t come even close to knowing more than me. Everyone else on here too. Even Nudger would have the beating of him in a quiz.

Also that's a relatively large sample size and the Lancet rarely (if ever) publish poor quality research.

It's a good medical journal, however, much of the anti-vax propaganda that is prevalent now can be pinned on their decision to publish what turned out to be fraudulent research by Andrew Wakefield about the MMR jab and side effects from it, late 90s if I remember. To be fair to the Lancet, the peer review at the time didn't question it, but it's one of the most controversial papers ever published.

I was thinking about whether it was the lancet that published that paper when I typed my response, but decided not to check the facts (bit like trump). Clearly an unethical study and the Lancet deserve some flack for publishing it. However, that was a long time ago and I think that study really gave academics a bit of a kick up the arse. I'd like to think that would never pass any ethics committee these days and would definitely not be published in a journal with an impact factor. And having read the paper it seems methodologically sound.
