His job involved making the rules he then broke. If a member of the police was caught stealing from a shop you’d expect them to be sacked, a car mechanic you wouldn’t. Same with my example earlier. His actions were relevant to his job and he cannot continue in that role now.

Johnson won't answer any questions on this, he'll stick to weak story. Parliamentary privilege isn't effective at press conference. It'll be wishy washy with no formal confirmatory language.

 

All those fines issued could be unlawful, how about claims against police for misconduct and abuse of power? Attorney General supports Cummings actions outside of parliamentary privilege remit.
