Before that, all we had was the bare facts. He just added a mass of detail. The bare facts remain. And are confirmed.
Piss poor pre-prepared questions from Kuensberg and Peston. Fair play to the Sky and Heil reps for having a dig at him and first prize to Gibbons from C4 for at least asking a question exposing him on the crap that he'd just spouted.
I'm having hearing trouble. Think I'll stand in the middle of the road with my eyes closed and listen for cars coming. It's literally the only way to test the situation out. I cannot think of anything else I could do.
Here is a man who in advising the PM, is literally helping to run the country and yet he is unable to remember where he stopped and how many times he stopped on the return journey from Durham to London.! God help us all.
He said he couldn't remember where he filled up on the way back to give himself an out if someone finds proof of him stopping on the way up. That way he came blame illness/stress playing with his memory etc, but if he clearly recalled his stop on the return leg he'd be denying himself that wriggle room.
Well I’ve been led to believe that if your child needs to go to hospital you are not allowed to go with them - i.e. you hand their care over to the medics - as per the poor young 14 year old who died and was buried without any family there.
His wife is a bit of a kamikaze hero herself. Mr Cummings "My eyes aren't working, I can't see" Mrs Cummings "You should get those tested, come on, take us for a drive. Master Cummings, get thi coit on, your blind father is taking us to a barnyard and a castle."
Driving tests are about to get a lot more interesting, no more reading a number plate in the distance.
I agree and must point out about the legality of the press and media hounding mr Cummins around his car, were they more than 2 metres away, in a word NO they were breaking lockdown rules, also the idiot representative from the bbc asking questions in the update yesterday, couldn't get the sound to work so had an engineer actually bending over him. You talk about one law for one and another law for everyone else. The bloody press in Britain think they run and rule everything
I still think he should resign or be sacked. Surely he must see that his actions will only encourage more of the public to ignore/flout the lockdown. Therefore making the Police's job a bigger nightmare.
It's eye tests I'm looking forward to. Mr Barlow, you've been legally blind for 12 years. Now, just ease her into first, let the clutch out slowly, and take us round the block. We'll see how that blindness is working out for you.
