    You’ve forgotten 4 i) he shouldn’t have driven whilst showing symptoms to pick them up. Any one of his many family members that were living on site could have done it.

    They’re not bothered about public opinion at this stage , there’s five more years before they have to think about us so in their eyes plenty of time to turn it round .
    It’s the Tory part Itself they are afraid of as only they at this point can remove him and that’s what the news conference was about to show the nasty press against him for the party to rally .

    The simple reason that Cummings isn’t ‘going’s’ is that it would be like the dummy firing the ventriloquist! Boris has no brain no voice and no grasp of reality. We are doomed!!

    Only 4 years. The Tories will repeal the fixed term parliament act as it will give them the option of calling an election when it suits them. They will most probably be planning for an election in Spring 2024. The electorate may well forget this episode but if there are 2.5 million unemployed and a huge Covid-19 debt to be paid for with higher taxes it will be interesting to see how well Johnson does. 3 months ago he was going to increase public spending to create a post - Brexit feel good factor. That evaporated immediately after the budget. It will be interesting to see how long "whatever it takes" lasts. btw I hope I am wrong with this but it is not going to be a V shaped recession.

    They managed to get back in after five years of Austerity , piling the blame on the Lib Dem’s .
    This lot have hugged the scientists all the way , guess who’ll get blame for not locking down , testing etc etc .
    This is over as far as Boris is concerned the rumblings in the party have been quelled they’ll still be a few thunder clouds but they’ll ride it out .

    You are assuming he was showing symptoms. I don't believe for one second that either he or his wife were. I think he knew his boss wasn't around so he pulled a sucky and went on holiday. It explains why no tests were carried out on a key government aid

    Just think we need to calm down a bit because we can destroy Cummins, destroy Boris, destroy the Tories, we've blown out of Europe, kill any relationship with the USA because Trump is a *****, we are still in a global pandemic with a massive recession on its way and no trade deals to get us through it. Maybe we should all come together a bit because I'm a tad worried. The Tory ****** drove his car, with his wife and kid to be near his family. Bit of perspective required.
