Latest rumour today is that when Johnson came out of hospital, he found out that Cummings had been gallivanting around the country and changed the slogan from "Stay at Home" to "Stay Alert" without consulting his scientists or the devolved governments in a bid to cover it up.

Personal insults, very mature. Not a fan of this government's response to all this; in fact it's been shambolic. But come on, grow up. You've no idea as to why he's doing that and he's more than likely still recovering from the damned virus himself. It can take weeks for your lungs to function normally again. What about his security staff? What about crowds gathering if he's spotted? You lot would hammer him no matter what he does.

He's not scared of people. I remember the London riots, he was the only one who went up to talk to gangs (without his security and aides, I might add), while all the others ran off.

I’ve no idea why he is doing that. Correct but neither do you.
He hides in fridges. He is a cowardly creep and I give as much concern over him as he gives for the majority of those living in this country.

Yet, you jumped on the bandwagon of him being scared of people, like that's a fact.

True, he does often act inconsiderately. I'm not his biggest fan by a long way. Just go easy on the insults. Nothing more cowardly than folk hiding behind their keyboards banding insults around. Lot of kids read this forum, too.

Walk a mile in someone else's shoes before you make a judgement.

While we're at it, I've been impressed by Nicola Sturgeon throughout all of this. I can't say I agree with her on much at all (coronavirus response aside) , but she's a brilliant operator and one of the best politicians around. I could sit here and comment on her appearance and feel all warm and gooey inside. But I don't see how that helps.

I see your point with him and that's fair enough.

As for Cummings, he's full of rubbish. Career obsessed. But his time will come I'm sure.

I cannot be sympathetic towards anyone who deliberately does others harm as boris and most of his cabinet have over the last 10 years. They have the power and money and love to see those less fortunate suffer.
Along with others in the Tory party they all have blood on their hands. Evil ********.
The big difference with this crisis atm is it affects everyone and the privileged are finding out their money cannot protect them. All a bit of a leveller.

No sympathy at all for Boris Johnson. His behaviour and policies have help to accelerate the amount of deaths in this country over the last 3 months. His backing of Cummings has given people a defence for ignoring lockdown- as reported today in the press ("if Cummings can do it, why can't I?")

If someone wants to call him a fat *******, then crack on.

Johnson was on holiday from the 6th only returning on 9th August - when the rioting was almost over with the last day of the riots on the 11th. When he returned he was heckled in Clapham Junction while trying to give a speech to the victims who were clearing up. No contemporary media reports of him meeting gangs during the time.

Just had to raise a chuckle at the S*n newspaper today. All the sheets have gone to town- even The Daily Star is getting political with its Cummings mask.

But no. The Tory Red Top has to fall in line. Some of the journos in that sh**rag must be dying to have a go.

Strange that, because Tom Newton-***, has been hyper critical of Johnson and Cummings in his social media posts. Also the Times has had some uncomplimentary front pages. Perhaps Murdoch has been reassured by Johnson and the Men in Suits, that things are back on track?

They know their audience of knuckle dragging rabid brexiteers hero worship Demonic Cummings for giving them their country back ( even though they hadn't lost it in the first place). So don't expect The Scum to be too critical unless the knuckle dragggers suddenly wise up anrd realise theyve been played like a fiddle by the likes of Cummings and his fat blonde tory gimp fan boy Johnson and The Scum editor gets a memo from Murdoch telling him Cummings and Johnson are fair game.

Thing is though the same papers all bang on about this country being at war with a virus, NHS heroes on the frontline, we’re all doing our bit, we’re all in this together. So doesn’t that make Cummings a traitor? Have to look up the punishment for a traitor in wartime but I bet it’s a bit more than a fixed penalty fine.

This committee that is currently grilling Boris is asking all the right questions and Boris is just completely ignoring them.

This isn't going away Mr Johnson.
