Very sorry to hear that JC. Sincerely hope that if you are one of the unlucky ones,
that you find another job real soon. As well as a threat to health, going forward, this
pandemic will unfortunately cause quite an amount of financial hardship for a lot of folks.

Definitely yes, I heard it on Money Box (Radio 4) yesterday, Apparently the government still pays the furlough amount and the company has to make up the difference to what you would normally get for redundancy in your particular situation.

Sorry to hear that you're affected by this. There's going to be a lot more I'm sure.

Sorry that's happening to you. If you've been there over 2 years then the law works in your favour.

not sure about this but I think you are supposed to get a months pay for each completed year.

Not sure that’s right, I think for “nearly 5 years” you’d have to put it as 4 years and you’d get 4 or 6 weeks salary, depending on your age.

Sounds like they're approaching it in the right way. I hope there are enough volunteers.

After the 90 days consultation I would have done 5 years. Do you get holiday pay as well I have taken no entitlement from this years allocation yet

You should qualify for the 5 years then and yes you are entitled to holiday accrued

When I got the peddlar at Haribo I got one weeks salary for every year I was there and all my holidays back. Came out with about £1700 for 4 years.
