probably need to take a couple of coaches as well so that the players can keep their distance on the way there and back
Ahh fair enough. I see that the Luton game description in the article has now been amended in accordance with that too, all good.
All seemingly points to fitness and desire as disproportionately important compared to usual times. Which should help us?
Wonder if our young squad will be an advantage over the older squads with this many games in such a short time frame #clutchingatstraws
I think it makes it worse. As all teams tire, the older players fall back on experience rather than speed (think Bobby Hassell in his later years) but the younger players have no experience and they can no longer run as fast so they are just constantly in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Trouble with that theory is that there’s not many games to play and we’re way down in deficit , so by time they tire there’s not many games left to take advantage if there is one .
All evening games should be 6 instead of 7:45. The weather should be brighter and the away team gets home earlier.
I will be quite cross if they vote to scrap it now having announced fixtures and everything that would be totally incompetence on behalf of the EFL.... oh!
I'm surprised they have midweek off after the first match. If you're going to give teams a midweek break they would prefer it further on when they are more tired.
That’s the opposite reason. They don’t want to go straight into 3 games in a week so are using that first week to build up before the midweeks start.
9 games left. My prediction: the first 3 will bring hope, the next 3 will bring despair and the last 3 will be largely irrelevant. Mark my words.
My prediction; Five wins, two draws, two defeats. That's 17 points and unlikely to be enough to stay up
Probably right. Unless we beat Stoke, Luton and Wigan on the bounce to take points off those around us and then we might get away with less points.
