    I am not very good at attaching things, but the club have responded on Twitter that those involved won’t be watching Clarke play at Oakwell. So hopefully the club have identified and banned them.

    Great response by the club. I'd go further and ban any of the little weasels who responded to the lads' posts with a laughing or thumb-up emoji too. People like that desperately need to be educated.

    That Matty has his facebook account set to public. Some of his posts are a joke, these major tech firms need to do more to stop these idiots from being able to post such vile stuff online.

    At least by self-publicising, it makes the club's job of rooting them out a little easier. I don't want these people anywhere near Barnsley Football Club.

    Get serious with them? The club banned one last season and two today by looks I've seen people confront it before inside oakwell and have myself. No doubt you have? Times like this more racists come.out of the woodwork.

    If we heard them we used to do, but too old now!
    by getting Serious I mean culling the bigger groups that are very noticeable but beyond your average fan

    I interpreted it very simply as a version of "well I never" or "Who'd have thought it?" or "what a surprise"
    North Yorks Red is getting unwarranted criticism in my very humble opinion, and I fully agree with his assertion that larger and very public racist groups are allowed to spew their bigotry pretty much at will

    Furthermore how many on here have confronted six burly d!ckheads on the Ponty about their appalling racist abuse?
    I did
    At my age!
    I was threatened with all manner of violence, in full view and earshot of hundreds. How many came to my aid or support?
    None
    I reported it to the club.
    They moved my ST to another seat-in the East Stand!

    A few years ago I wrote to the Club about racist chanting in the Ponty - letter back - 'thanks for your letter' - 'we take any complaints of any form of racism very seriously' - 'we checked with the stewards on duty but they heard no racist chanting.'
