    didnt realise he had retired due to knee problems in 2017. said had knee issues for 5 years which would have been wen he was with us. was a good player at Arsenal maybe injury ruined rest of career.

    i remember him red carded on debut at the PigSty, says on wikipedia 31st minute. i knew it was early in game. also says (which i thought was funny) he was sent off on debut for his next club Ufa in russian premier league also in 31st minute. that takes some doing. He was gesturing Spartak Moscow fans as they were racially abusing him on the pitch.

    sorry if post is boring i just thought 2 debut red cards in same minute was unique.

    According to flash score, booked in 24th Min and then again in 30th. I remembered it as a straight red though

    Thats how I remember it as well though its possible the second was a straight red but he was definitely booked and then dove in again almost straight away afterwards and the ref had absolutely no choice

    Didn't he have one decent game after he came back from suspension? Then a bad game after and was never seen again
