Has he picked a team to lose a game? There must be reasons behind this - we haven't seen anyone in training, We don't really know what's going on - let's see what happens...We have nine subs on the bench - QPR only have seven...

I can only think it's based on who's played the way he wants in training. Tine will tell I suppose.

The game hasn't kicked off and we have lost already. How does that work?

Not heard of Palmer, what position does he play? Interesting he's gone for Walton, where did that come from???

In that interview on Thursday night from BFCST one of the journalists (can’t remember which one) said pick a settled side and don’t try to tinker too much and I was in agreement. I know they’re only journalists and Struber is the coach but seems like we’ve gone the complete other way.

A lot of my optimism, which was maybe misguided anyway, has disappeared now. Let’s hope all these surprise inclusions have worldies!

I am not surprised he has put a team like this out. We have to play a lot of games in a short time so squad rotation was bound to happen. It will be interesting to see how we adapt.

I get that rotation will be a key part for these games but this game has the longest rest after and ideally, you want to get players up to speed quickly surely?

I can only imagine that some of the players have gained as much weight as I have during the lockdown.

I reckon Struber's fed up of reading all the non football posts on here and is seeking to change it!!

I can only assume he has a plan going forward for squad rotation against current fitness levels. He has the option to make changes from the bench and as he has proved before, he will make them early in the game if required.

That’s what I was thinking as well . We have five subs to think about and warm weather etc , just have to make sure it is tight and not capitulate early in the game .

In fairness, we could put out a World XI and still lose at Loftus Road.

Two first team goalkeepers to pick from so duck the issue and pick the third choice.
Chaplin scored a hat-trick against QPR last time out so they know he's a danger so leave him on the bench.
Not even heard of Palmer and have no idea where he's come from. Is he one of our own or did we sign him from somewhere else?
