Fair play to the team getting the 3 points. Walton pulled of a couple of saves/catches and came off his line well. Palmer got himself stuck in. Ben Williams did well and was heavily involved in the goal.
I said on another thread earlier that I was a bit baffled with the starting line up. However, these young lads have done us proud today. Any away win is enjoyable, but to get a first victory at QPR in seventy years tastes particularly sweet. Well done to the Tykes pups.
What a professional display from the lads and a very abstract team selection. Worked a treat. Lovely to see Anderson get a solid game under his belt too. Very assured, along with Solbaur and the two right backs. Thought Ludewig was outstanding. Solid performance from Walton too. Encouraging stuff
A baffling team selection, but it seems to have done the trick. 6 or 7 more rabbits out the hat and we might just do it...
Struber just confirmed on Radio Dee Dar, that both Radlinger and Collins are injured, so young Walton was his only fit keeper. He also said Simoes pulled a muscle so he was withdrawn as a precaution at half time. Brilliant display by the lads. Great to see Andersen having a good game. Have we also got young Sibbick in contention after his loan move to Hearts ended.?
Thought simoes had a good 1st half and took his goal well. Probley deserved the win based on the 1st half performance but 2nd half we were well on the back foot.
I couldn't care if we won it with 10% possession, 3 pts and saved some legs, Strubers biggest worry is the squad coping with all the games.
Thanks JLWBigLil. I wasn't sure. Hope you get your iFollow problems sorted in time for the next game. I missed the goal and the first twenty minutes because it would let me connect.
Oh, trust me, mate, I've been in a huge childish sulk all afternoon. I'll wait until next week and try to get it sorted with iFollow. So far, I've been disgusted with the non existent service. However, for now, I'm simply going to bask in today's victory. If I can't enjoy this win, I may as well pack it in.
