    We received this email.

    Unfortunately, we don't have the copy he's referring to. As with a million things at the club before my time, nobody deemed it important to create archives.

    If anyone can help, drop me a private message. Below is the chap's request:


    My father has been a lifelong Crystal Palace supporter for over 50 years and unfortunately has cancer and not long left to live (6months)

    He has a bucket list of collecting all the Palace programmes Home & Away from 1961 to present but unfortunately, he is missing just 2 and one of those is a Barnsley programme

    It would be so nice to be able to help my father with his quest but I have exhausted all possible places and you are hopefully my saviour

    Do you keep any old programmes or do the place where you get them printed keep copies

    It would make an old man very happy if he can get his wish.

    I think the best you're going to get is someone willing to scan in all the pages and making it a printable PDF. Anyone who has one is no doubt keeping it to complete their own collection.

    Unless they're a random programme buyer like me. I've got a few hundred random programmes (95% Barnsley) in the loft going back 50 years including every home and away match from the Premier League season. As the price went up, I've been loathe to buy more than a couple a season. I've looked through my programmes but haven't got that one. If I had I would have gladly donated it. Hopefully someone out there is like me and just might have that one programme gathering dust.

    I know John.

    I know a hell of a lot of folk who have the copy, but it's their own collection. I said I'd ask for the fella though, you never know if someone has it laying around unwanted.

    I just added it to basket mate but then was going to message @YTBFC as will need address to send it to. Would be good to see if the other programme he is missing is also on this site. Would be happy to buy one of the two if so

    Thanks mate. If you or @YTBFC can find out the other programme he needs (presumably not Barnsley but can search on that site you just bought it on) I am happy to get that. Would be nice if Barnsley fans can complete his collection for him. And nice one for getting the Barnsley one, lovely gesture.

    I was going to put a best wishes letter in from the Supporters' Trust as well as details where we got the programme from so they can search the same website.They might decide to replace any that weren't in good condition as well.

    That's a good idea. The family will really appreciate what you've done. It would make for a nice little story to put in one of our last matchday programmes of the season. Hopefully they find whatever the other programme is.
