It’s the width of a normal cupboard, so is that around 60cm? Cutlery draw on top, next drawer down has various sized Pyrex dishes, roasting tins, baking trays, chopping boards, measuring jugs/spoons, funnels etc. and then last really deep ‘drawer’ has all saucepans, frying pans, wok, pressure cooker etc. with their matching lids.
Fork, knife, spoon surely. So I can pick up a handful of forks in left hand, knives in right and walk round table placing them easily. Owt else is plain daft and creates work. as for coffee tea sugar, that depends on what you use most of surely.
Yes, but they're in the Special Drawer with the other special things - soup spoons, fruit spoons, egg spoons. Also houses the bread knife, carving knife and other potential murder weapons.
Sharp knives (inc. sharpeners, meat cleaver etc), knifes, forks, spoons, teaspoons at the front. I just wish we had a matching set. The mrs keeps buying new sets. Some of which feel like they’re made of paper.
well done Rosco for bringing a bit of class to the discussion (agree we have some peasants on this site) - I have FISH KNIVES! beat that anyone? and how many of you hold a knife like a pen with the handle sticking out when it should be in the palm of the hand out of sight.
I once had a fork. On di table. And a sheet on di table. Then asked the missus. ( half Italian) if I could have a piece on di table. She said go away you dirtee b’std. what’s dirty about toast.
Why would you put knives in first and then when you pick them up have to instantly swap hands to use them?
