Mark Sedwell, head of the civil service quits before being pushed and is replaced by David Frost, who conveniently negotiated leaving the EU.
I was reading an article earlier Cummins is going to reform the Civil Service. This after Sedwill was thanked for his work including the reform of the Civil Service. Seems to me we’ll see the politicising of the Civil Service.
No announcement on Head of Civil Service position (according to BBC), Sedwell was also a National Security Advisor and has been replaced by Frost for this. BBC also reporting Cummings long held desire to reform CS.
Says it all really. What Cummins wants Cummins gets. I just hope it proves to be a case of what goes around comes around.
