Well deserved. He’s made massive improvements since we returned, looks like the break has done him good. Long may it continue. Now can Struber stop the ridiculous tactic of him basically taking goal kicks to take some pressure off of him.

He plays better in a back 3 than a back 4

Just for balance - he should have scored.

Praise too for Sollbauer who strengthened our defence on arrival and made Halme look better. Then after the break when we expected Halme to still be beside him instead we got Andersen who's put in his best two performances. I am starting to believe no matter who is alongside Sollbauer they will just look better.

That's what bringing an experienced captain does for a team

I'm hoping we stay up the error in recruitment is properly realised because it could be make or break for the squad. I've no doubt the club would rebuild again in League 1 and possibly come straight back up with the players on longer contracts. However, I'd rather stay up with Sollbauer, Halme, Mowatt, Woodrow and Chaplin here than go down and possibly lose those players.

Look at the other centre half - and particularly the central midfield pairing in that team of the week ...

If we had Sollbauer last season Lindsay wouldn't have got his big money move to Stoke because he wouldn't have played enough for us to get noticed. Sollbauer/Pinnock would have been some partnership.

6 of that team are involved in relegation battle, that must be quite unusual

The tactic that basically led to most of his mistakes.

Well done Mads. Good on him. Would have been great for him to have scored at the end.

Nah he made plenty of stupid mistakes that were nothing to do with that tactic, although I don't think it's helped him one bit as the fans got on his back from it and that didn't help his confidence.
