Has anyone managed to get iFollow to work on a Firestick? I've tried various browsers including Silk and Firefox. It lets me log into iFollow but then when I click a video to watch it says it won't work and you need to download the Barnsley App. Problem is I can't download the App. Anyone found a solution? I could do with sorting it otherwise its watching it on a tablet again.
I couldn't get Silk to work but others have. You have to switch it to the Desktop version and then it doesn't ask you to download the app. So I hear anyway.
For the first game we only got it on the mobile, eventually. It worked fine for Millwall game by logging in on laptop and hdmi cable to tv.
I'm reliably informed it's an icon in the bottom corner. I would tell you exactly where it is but I couldn't get it to work myself so just go for the HDMI to TV option through Firefox.
I have been using Silk on firestick and talked my dad thru it before Blackburn match no problem. Make sure you aren't logged on another device.. Then as someone else suggested, once navigating to the BFC page, switch to desktop version. You do this by clicking on the little icon at the top right of the browser. Get logged on to ifollow and find the view live match... then maximise the screen, sit back and watch the super reds..
I tried this without success during the Millwall game. When I went to Google Play to download the app it said to enter my email and then said that account wasn’t linked to an Android device and I couldn’t figure out how to link it (having Apple not Android devices). I gave up and since we won the games where I have watched it elsewhere I’m now superstitiously wondering if I should not try again.
You can watch on Amazon Silk but as others have said you need to click the monitor icon in the toolbar and change to desktop setting. The problem I've found is that it continually sticks and buffers and I've no idea how to stop that. Any suggestions folks?
Thanks everyone that's brilliant. Logged in tonight and clicked on the monitor icon to the left of the star on the browser bar. Requested desktop mode before logging in. Logged in and went to matches/results. Picked the Cardiff game and then clicked on the view game icon at the top left of the page. Appeared on screen and watched it for about 2 minutes before coming out. All set for Saturday now. Let's hope it doesn't keep freezing in the early part of the game like it did on.my tablet.
Probably more to do with your firestick... If it is the old version, get the 4k version if you have a spare 30/40 quid.. far faster etc.. But generally, check what apps you have delete any old ones you don't use and clear the cache out. Will help quite a bit.
