Not all finding form, look at teams above us getting sucked in. And there are loads of games between those teams so some points will inevitably be lost. We have 3 for a start, over Easter. Genuine 6 pointers.
Performance tonight was superb. We need to keep on winning the next six games. If we play like we have in the last 3 we have a chance. If Sollbauer & Mowatt are out we will struggle. Every player is running their blood to water. Coliins today was immense, but if we lose one of those two I think we'll be lost. They were sublime today.
Yes. Felt for some time that with this manager we had a chance. hes remotivated the players and given them clarity and focus. we have some real talent in this group and theyve kept battling despite the extensive criticism on here.
we will lose more than 2 - I think we need to win 5 out of 10 to stand a chance - 49 or even 50 points may not be enough for us though the way some of the bottom sides have turned things round
If you try and forecast who the wins come against it makes results like Saturday's harder to swallow. If you break it down to just five wins things seem better again. Saturday was a disappointment but it just means they need sumat against Leeds, Brentford or Forest. The Fulham game gives me a bit of hope.
This thread was first posted back in January. Some nteresting comments along the way. As of today: 50 points could still do it. 9 needed. 6 games. 2 wins. 3 draws. 1 defeat.
It was I think we stand more chance of achieving 3 wins 1 draw 2 defeats 50 points may be enough but its so annoying the way the bottom sides have all found form
I think now its not just how many points we can accrue but also where we get them. Stoke and Luton at the very least are must not lose games.
I'd take 50 now doesn't guarantee anything but still 8 teams in the fight Luton game couldn't be any bigger though..
