Yes that old chestnut plus he missed a cart load of chances that would have kept us in this division last time even with Morais as manager . Good business in my view

They and now Dane in interviews when talking about the club refer to it not as there club ,not as there team ,but as a business enterprise
it is very difficult to support people who refer to the club in that way in every interview

Definition of a business enterprise : A endeavour where the primary motive is profit and not mere employment for oneself and others/ A for profit entity

does anyone want to see the club in debt
    no
but people who have a interest in football or are football fans would be nice
i don't believe the people who bought the club have the slightest interest in football whatsoever.
every decision made will be based on possible returns for the investors of the fund.
which is its primary and only reason for being.

He asked to go so he could get a higher salary. Now he is a club that is in administration. For all those people who know how to spend the investors' money better, I would ask htem to consider that as a club, we have kept within our means and had a plan to be self sustaining. I'm not saying things have worked out brilliantly on the pitch, but we are still in existence.

We're saying that's the best £3 million they've spent, when it's £3 million they didn't have, and has basically resulted in them being lower than us in the league?

    Ok

Remember all those revenue streams and improvements to fan experience they said they would make. Lolz. A couple of tents in the car park. Sorted out by a Barnsley fc supporters group.

Two different arguments though. You may not believe him good enough, but that’s not the same as the club having to let him go because he wanted to leave. Which is, quite honestly, so preposterous that I’m amazed anyone believes it.

If you read my post the word I used was 'never', precisely because they didn't have the money.

I can't stand what Wigan have done but beat us and they'll nearly have got away with it. The point of the post was to highlight that they'd be sunk without trace already without Moore, who we had no need to give to them.

To be fair, no one knew we were relegation rivals when we sold him.

Only going on what Moore said in an interview that his out looked changed after his head injury , basically he wanted to cash in to secure his future

It was never about selling players. We've always sold players. We've always been ripped off and very rarely get decent coin for our players.

It's about who we've replaced them with. We sold the spine of our promotion team and replaced them with utter fcking dross. And lots of it. Lots and lots of dross. On long contracts. In the faint hope that some of them will improve slightly and we'll be able to make a slight profit on them.

In recent years we've shopped in Leagues One and Two, for young, hungry players who get the English game and who have played league football for a good couple of years. Hourihane, Winnall, Scowen, Potts, Pinnock, Mawson, Roberts, McDonald, Yiadom etc were all bought from lower leagues and were unproven. But they knew what English football was about. They knew about the pace and intensity of it.

Now we don't even do that.

It isn’t right for me to engage in threads such as this. Unlike those who are only posting their opinions, using guesswork, slender knowledge and possibly motivated by agenda, I actually know the facts so it’d be an unfair debate.

All makes for interesting reading as I sit here on the pot though.

You do some brilliant things at the club and the videos you put online etc are first class, and I agree with lots and lots you write. But this is a poor post, and will only serve as a red rag to many a bull who are rightly pissed off with the situation we find ourselves in.

If you can't say anything (and obviously you can't) then don't.

The agenda of being supporters who feel that selling players with long contracts and replacing them with cheap tat signed from James's wanky spreadsheet is an appalling way to run a football club even if it's a good way to run a business?

I understand why you have to defend them but come on. They've misled the supporters many many times whether it's deliberately or out of simple incompetence. They've treated supporters disgracefully with their lack of respect they show. And they from a footballing point of view have made such an awful job of running this club.

He was asked by Selby Red to comment tbf. I'm not happy with a lot of what's gone off this season but it's not all doom and gloom.
