But never blindly thinking they're 100% correct and open to other thoughts. It's just like being in the pub - which I miss - like you wouldn't believe!
But what about Corbyn though? How would he have managed us? And we'd have been too of the league if it wasn't for Brexit There, that should make everything back to normal again
Pile of *****. No talent. No effort. No desire. No belief. Too many foreigners. Too many young players. Absolute disgrace of a club.
Why is too many foreigners a problem? I dont get the rationale, you can get crap players of all nationalities.
Good. It shows people care. And I was 100% correct when I said, "That's the same Daniel who coached us to our first season unbeaten at home since 1968. That's the same Daniel who coached us to our first automatic promotion since 1997. That's the same Daniel who coached us to our best points total in the club's history."
And I'll be 100% correct when I say: 'I loved Daniel Stendal' 'I loved that 2018/19 season' 'I loved that we attacked the Championship in the same way' 'I didn't love how we almost disregarded the jump in ability to our own detriment based on the players we had at our disposal'
Regarding the "first 18 games" theory. If those players were not Championship-ready, is it not self-evident that the coach who inherits them for the second half of the season must inherit a slightly more experienced bunch? Stendel had to deal with them in a higher league when they were still raw. To compare the first 18 games with the games thereafter is a "ceterus paribus" argument that the economists would be fond of.
Struber's PPG of 1.27 translated to a full season would currently put us 13th with 58 points. He's simply been left with too much to do after a disastrous first 17 games.
We was worse team I've ever seen for defending but could still score goals. We fix that issue now we want score for toffee lol. No point in arguing over all this for who's to blame I think everyone as their part player. Managers. Owners. We've had enough chances to rescue ourselves but we bottle it. Owners... bringing unknown talent for profit in. Manager...playing players out of position especially your top goalscorer. Players...some of them look like they can't be arsed. Some just not good enough. Under a good runned club we could of rescued ourselves in my opinion. Even with our squad and shows how bad some teams are in this league
This is my view too. I can't remember whether it was eight or nine points from those 17 games. It left us in an almost impossible position, already needing to win almost every other game. Struber has done well. Some of his tactics leave me scratching my head, and I think we struggle to attack, but considering what he started with he has at least made us competitive.
Mcgeehan, Cavare, Thiam, Pinnilos, Sibbick, Green, Dougal, Bahre didnt need to be bombed out this season, Stendel did that then we tried to replace them with RItzmaire, Ludwig, Radlinger, Williams x2 which just wasnt good enough. Woodrow needs to hang his head after his contribution since the restart, Solbaure type should have been brought in earlier and not thrown Anderson to the wolves. Mowatt, Brown deserve a Barnsley knighthood for their commitment to the cause this season and I agree with the OP Stendel got it wrong and Struber not done much better. Murray should have kept the job and we should have given him more support because this diamond / Struber formation is inaffective in this league with our quality of players.
