I always think when rivals are playing each other then a draw is usually best , simply because only 2 points are allocated to the league table instead of 3
It normally is but on this occasion it puts Hull further away and with our run in every point is precious so a Wigan win keeps them both in touch . Clutching at straws really but it keeps it a bit interesting untill the inevitable is confirmed .
Luton went to Leeds and got a draw, no reason we can't turn them over. No pressure, it's all on Leeds. Chins up! Mowatt with the winner. On another point it's still 3 from 8 teams to go down with just three games to go. We can go on about how bad we've been but we're essentially in the relegation zone due to not scoring a scoring or conceding a couple of goals. Over 43 games that's some tiny margins. Crazy division.
Fancy us to win our last two matches. They both may likely play seriously weakened squads to keep fresh for the play offs. Not giving up until it is impossible.
I think we’re down already but a lot of people seem to think Wigan’s points deduction will be scrapped so this is probably the best result for us as Hull’s goal difference is worse than ours. Having said that Hull are terrible & I think it’ll be us or them that finish bottom so my guess is if we’re finishing above them on goal difference we’ll both be getting relegated anyway.
