How crucial might those two penalty decisions against Charlton in our second home game be? Said it at the time that I thought they may come back to bite us. If their's was one, ours had to be one.
Wow, it is really close at the bottom, at least we've still given ourselves a chance. Wednesday is going to be nerve racking!
Nothing changes for us. We HAVE to win the game. The rest will take care of itself. It could work to our advantage. How much risk will Luton and Charlton take, when a point might be enough for them.
They will wait till season done then deduct Wednesday just enough to keep them up. No Leeds for Sky TV to have it's annual love affair with, so early expect a season of bigging Wednesday up and how they deserve to be in the Premier League because of their history and fans. Look on the bright side though, only another 2 years before the Diaby verdict is out.
You're right. They're not going to go for a point from the outset. But should Leeds put one in against Charlton, are the bench really not going to say anything? Be madness to pile everyone forward at the risk of losing and being caught on the break.
They will get one less point than is required to relegate them. The EFL have to be shown to punish them but at the same time it's a lot easier for them to not actually punish them. Stay up on goal difference and Wednesday want appeal.
Still maintain that the best result in that Charlton match against Brum would have been a win for Charlton because of Birminghams goal difference. I expect them to lose their last match meaning they would have been below us if we win on GD. If charlton get a draw we don't get that opportunity. But we can only do our bit and cross our fingers..
All we can do is hope that Brentford have run out of steam and get a win. The rest is completely out of our control.
I guess a few early goals for West Brom wouldn't hurt. Would be a real blow for Brentford, no doubt they'll be watching what happens at the Hawthorns
