    The reality is he only cares about one thing. The supposed bank balance of our owners.

    He genuinely believes that because they claim to be rich men that anything that happens on the pitch doesn't matter. It's bizarre

    Club achieves a huge win to keep their season alive, in the unlikeliest of fashion. Fans everywhere on social media briefly united in their joy and relief at the ending of the game. Naturally, Young Nudger can't last 2 hours before an attention-seeking post, and as WUM content goes, this one is in the Category A section.

    Financially the championships revenues are between 5-8 million more than League One. Jobs will be saved there will less of a need to penny pinch.

    Onto the actual football this season has been a huge learning curve for our young set of players all of which had no previous experience at this level of football. We’ve seen games where we’ve played excellent football you don’t beat Fulham twice by luck, we haven’t lost to West Brom by luck and comfortably outplayed Leeds for 135 minutes out of the 2 games we played by luck. The missing piece of the jigsaw is goals our players are getting better we look a lot better at the back than we did in the first half of the season if we stayed up I think we comfortably stay up and be around mid table.

    We haven’t had a plan b this season any team that plays physical or sits in a bit so we can’t counter we’ve struggled with - this is what we need to work on next season if we’re still in the championship a few new signings would hopefully give us the variation we require.

    People will lose jobs & we don’t even know if & when league one will be able to start.

    I’d suggest anyone who isn’t bothered if we’re relegated isn’t a real Barnsley fan

    The thread seems to have descended into chaos but fwiw, I WOULD be bothered if we went down, but like last time would get over it pretty quickly. I love away days at Rochdale, Crewe, Fleetwood and the like (not a WUM), much friendlier us we usually get a result - last season, we were unbeaten at Oakwell too. I would love it more if we stayed up though.

    Down side is that we will lose players.
    I think some players have already got their bags packed.
    BUT - the core of this team will remain.
    Adding to that core at either 1st Division or Championship level is going to make us stronger.
