We have had a few 89 minute winners in recent years, and quite a few injury time goals for draws, including 2 this season from memory! But when was the last 90+ minute winner at home?? I’ve gone for George Williams vs Peterborough on a night back in April 2016! Can anyone remember the last one at the Ponty End? A real shame that no fans saw that one today!!

I think the last winner in injury time was against Norwich in about 1983. Gwyn Thomas scores against Chris Woods and they complained it never went in. Up the tunnel Steve Bruce called us a setting of cheating Yorkshire cnutts, so my old man levelled him. I was stood in the tunnel at the time (aged about 7) thinking I’m never going to call my Dad a Cnutt.
Yes I think it was. It was Defo a 2-2 draw now I think about it. Tuesday night I reckon. Not many there but a massive ruckus at the end of the game. It hit the bottom corner and bounced out. They said it hit the post and a massive argument happened which then ended up continuing up the tunnel. Norwich had a really good side that year.
Nah, it was a Saturday afternoon. The shot had come off the crossbar, bounced down and out. It didn't look like it had crossed the line to me, but it happened so quickly I doubt anyone could honestly claim one way or the other. We were stood in line with it and couldn't say with any confidence that it was in, so was somewhat surprised when the referee gave it. Norwich had a very good team that season and went up as champions. We drew both our games with them, as earlier in the campaign we'd come away with a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road.
I agree with all what you have written but it wasn’t a crossbar goal. It went right in the bottom corner but bounced back out really speedily, which was odd in those days as the nets were slack and held the ball more that they do now. I think that’s why Norwich thought it didn’t go in. I remember that bit like it was yesterday. It definitely wasn’t a goal line argument.
