So folks, I know that we all want us to stay up but what do we realistically think will happen ?

Brentford have battered most teams recently, and they need the points too. If they get an early goal it could open the floodgates. It’s a miracle we have anything to play for, but beating the league most in-form team when we’re struggling for goals is probably a step too far. Stick your life savings on Brentford at 2/5 (40%) and at least you’ll have something to celebrate at the end. Unless we draw.

They have to attack us we need five across the back and quick players to hit them on the break. We could get some space in their defence. I’ll take us 2-0.
Charlton and Wigan to lose, Luton to win and EFL will defer points deductions to next year.

If only a narrow defeat was good enough...

I'll go with the opposite of whatever Farnham thinks.

We'll lose...maybe by a few if we have to go chasing the game.

We have to win AND Wigan and Luton must only draw OR one of them draw and Charlton lose.

Meanwhile, Brentford have won 15 out of 22 home games, are playing their last ever game at Griffin Park and (subject to other results) are playing for a possible £190M.

I think we may be pushing our barrow uphill.

Had a quick nosey on their board and there's some concern they're running on empty. An early goal for us is crucial imo

Funny old thing is pressure , nerves will play a big part & I genuinely think we will come away with 3 points thanks to a 2 nil victory , however , will 3 points be enough ? now thats a different question

Even if we win we can still be relegated so by virtue of the fact that we need too many planets to align to ensure survival I think we're going down.

I desperately hope that I'm wrong of course.

I thought we held our nerve against Forest in a must win game & that experience will have done us no harm , whilst Brentford blew it last time out & they will have that at back of their minds , funny thing pressure .

Yeah, but remember us losing to Portsmouth before beating Bradford to go up?

didnt watch em against Stoke but previously againt Preston, they didn't look convincing..tired maybe?
pressure is more on them than us, and, considering weve nowt to lose im expecting nowt more than a win
    keep the faith

I remember it very well my friend but it was still very much in our own hands then & we still had Oxford after that match ,whilst Brentford haven given the advantage back to West Brom , anyway I am rambling but I just genuinely think we will beat Brentford but alas that might not be good enough .

I seem to recall people looking on the Stoke forum before we played them, and seeing how little confidence they had. In fact, every time I see that an opponents fans think we will beat them, we put in an awful performance.

A win at Brentford seems very unlikely. That’s why Struber looked beaten after the Wigan game, because Forest at home was the only realistic chance of a win in our last three.
