They can keep my money. The iFollow alternative has been good value. Seeing us win at QPR was worth a million quid, at least. :)

No, I've posted the same. It's a season ticket, not card and not seasonal membership!

Before you know it they'll be renaming the linesmen to assistant referees...

.... because the owners think anyone daft enough to get one is a complete member? Just a thought ;-)

I'm sort of 50/50 there. It's been a combination of !any things for me
The owners complete disregard for me during the season. Disrespect that they have shown.
The fact that our owners claim to be billionaires and I'm on near enough the minimum wage.
The fact that the owners have refused to make even a token financial input into THEIR business during all of this.
The fact that there was a quite deliberate attempt at emotionally blackmailing us into not taking what's rightfully ours.
How hard they've made it to do so. Hiding the information at the bottom of the article etc.

I wasn't sure whether I'd made the right decision and did feel a little guilty about it right until I got their email telling me my request to my legal refund has been filed and will remain filed until they have received irrefutable clarity and the season is completed. Now unless I'm mistaken the season IS completed as far as being a season ticket holder is concerned. There are no more home games left. What clarity do they want?

    Thanks for the heads up.

I'd have sort of expected an email from the club on this as a reminder. Anyway, not to worry. Next how to claim our shirt which I've not seen much talk of except on here.

To be fair, I did get an email about the deadline last Wednesday. To claim your shirt log in to the Box Office and select the one you want.

I think that's an agreement between the efl and ifollow. Don't think our owners would give a door a bang

Not sure what you mean here? We’re the only club in the Championship that has made both home and away games free on iFollow to season ticket holders to my knowledge. That’s not something the EFL have enforced.

The EFL made the decision that all clubs should offer ifollow free to season ticket holders. What some clubs elected to do is make that a condition of the ticket holder waiving their right to a refund. I think that's why you're both saying opposite things because of interpretation the announcements

I think Whitey has explained much better what I thought was true. We made all games, home and away, free to season ticket holders but also left the option of a refund open. So fans have been able to claim a refund and get the benefit of watching all nine games online.

That’s a pretty reasonable deal and it sounds like a few have taken advantage of it.

    Again, you're wrong.

The EFL is iFollow. They didn't make any such decision. The clubs went to the EFL actually. And the EFL then had to speak and agree with Sky and other broadcasters.

As for the streaming, no other club has given all nine games for free to their season ticket holders. Many gave the home games. Most gave streaming in lieu of a refund. We can't have dealt with this whole sorry episode in a more fan-friendly way than we have done.

There are probably legitimate reasons to knock the club, but on this? Not a prayer.

There were emails sent, and letters to those without an email account.

As for the claiming of shirts, it was publicised massively.

I didn't say they were different companies. I said that the EFL made a decision that ifollow should be available to all season ticket holders. That's correct, they did. It may have been after clubs approached them but the EFL ultimately made a decision to allow it for all season ticket holders.

Neither did I say other clubs had given it as well as a refund s. I actually said the opposite, that some had elected to give it in lieu of a refund.

Then I said that the misunderstanding had probably come about dues to a miscommunication and interpretation of the efls statement which said ifollow was available to all season ticket holders of all clubs. I'm sure you can see how that could lead people to believe it was being offered completely free to all season ticket holders of all clubs.

My issue on this matter hasn't been anything to do with ifollow, my post you quoted wasn't me complaining, it was me simply explaining why he had misunderstood the situation.

My issue as you know is the emotional blackmail utilised by the club, the way that other options were made clear but refund was a lot more ambiguous, that it was extremely easy to give your ticket to the NHS but if you want a refund not so easy. (Big obvious button on ticket website versus no mention of refund) and the absolutely indefensible stance taken by our owners of asking minimum wage supporters to forego their refund to help cash flow and asking players and staff to loan the club money via a wage deferral whilst simultaneously refusing to fund or loan their own company even a single penny to aid that same cash flow.[/QUOTE]

I'm not complaining, please don't think I am. The shirt thing was just me that wasn't paying attention. I don't remember seeing an email though, and I don't think my dad got a letter.

I must admit, I wouldn't be keen on emailing bank details.

I'm not sure, it's just emailing bank details isn't the most secure thing in the world. I'm not a tin hat kind of person but I wouldn't be happy doing it.
